It is one of the first things you notice about yourself when you look in the mirro to get ready for schoo.
And it is noe of the first things you see about other people.

interpreter's training
This text below is taken from the updated and expanded 2005 version of Conference Interpreting-- A students' Comanion by Andrew Gilles (see bibliography) and suggests some strategies for acquring language at advanced level. It is reporduced with kind permission of Tertium, Cracow. These two exercises are probably the single most rapid and effective way of expanding your active language skills that you will find. All you need is a little application.
3.5 Learn by heart, and practice reciting, 5-10 lines of well written text in your B language every day. Each day check that you still know all the previous days' texts each day. This may sound ambitious but it won't acturally take more than 10 minutes and after a week you will find yourself using the new structures and expressions when you speak your B language. This exercise will contribute very quickly and effectively to expanding the active vocabulary of your B language by moving not only words but also entire structures instantaneously from your passive to your active knowledge of a language. In a short time, you will have large body of good quality language that can be recalled instantaneously.
3.7
Learn off-by-heart and mimic 2 minute extracts from, interviews, speeches and stand-up comedians in your B language. Copy the speaker's sentence intonation as well as pronunciation. Learn one per day and each day check that you still know all the previous days' texts. This exercise will help you develop the correct sentence intonation and rhythm when speaking your B language. Both are very difficult to learn and often give away foreign speakers of English who otherwise have a very good command of the language.
In addition learning extracts by heart will function as in 3.5, moving words, structures and here also intonation patterns directly from passive to active language knowledge.
(Comedians are mentioned here because to sound really authentic you will have to feel like you are exaggeratign the accent when you speak... but in fact it wll not be as over the top as you think. )

Governor, Cut the Waste, not the Workers!

something which I created back in 2003 became crowned as the best film in the world.
I promise you I'll remain faithful to the soul of your novel.
When someone makes that kind of a promise, you know that the body will be pretty much mangled.
The biggest difference is in the film, every question folllows the progression of his age.
In the film actually every question is following his age sequence.
In the film, he is on the penultimate question when he's arrested.
I don't know if you heard this or not, I've just been posted to Japan as the consul general of India in Osaka! He expects to take up the post this summer.

Humans are not the only ones at risk. the kangaroos are destroying the grassy native habitat of endangered species such as a 15-meter-long lizard known as earless dragon.
But "Compare that to anything furry with big eyes-- the human emotions generally respond to furinesss and big eyes, " Cooper said.

strategic and tactical missiles
a strategic weapon is one designed for mass destruction like a nuclear missile. A tactical weapon, on the other hand, typically carries a conventional high explosive warhead.
Tactical:
smaller cruise missile or a bomb that travels over shrot ranges carryng a low-yield warhead. Used against battlefield targets that my change rapidly as battle conditions change.
Strategic:
Typically be targeted at a military base or city accoridng to a premeditated war plan.
Ballistic Missile:
weapon spends much of its flight in an unpowered free-fall towards the target. after lauch with a propulsion, the booseter burns out during flight. the warhead, under the influence of gravity, falls back into the atmosphere(re-entry). both tactical (SCUD) and strategic(SS-25 and Peacekeeper) .
Harder to destroy.
because of high speed and diffuclty to track as they fall from space back to the earth.
They spend a lot of money to destroy BM. (Starwars, BMD)
Launch and booster phase are the timing for ballistic missiles to be attacked.
Airborne Laser is used by the US Air force, which uses chemical laser to burn a hole and rip the vehicle apart.
Cruise: mostly remians within the atomosphere. As typically smaller, cruise missiles are usu. classified as tactical weapons.

China is slowly buiding a blue-water navy, and in December it sent three ships to the waters off Somalia to patrol agaiinst pirates, in the first modern active deployment of its warshipss beyond its home waters.
Chinese traditionally defered to Washington on major economic and strategic issues, assenting or differing only after Washington made its case.
moral sway
China's normally faceless vice president Xi Jiping, achieved cult status in late Feb. after cameras caught him in an unguarded moment in Mexico, attacking foreigners whohad eaten their fill and had nothing better to do, pointing their fingers at our affairs.

Conditioned to save for medical expenses and old age, they sock away more than one-fourth of their incomes.
Sock: 溜め込む、へそくり(こないだ会議で出なかった!!)
People dare not to spend more because of the underdevelopment of the social welfare system.
(社会保障システムの未発達から、人々はより多く消費しようとはしない。)
Hundreds of millions of others face crippling bills for treatment of serious illness that are not covered by rudimentary insurance programs.

全国人民代表大会:the National People's Congress=NPC
The NPC is a rubber-stamp affair at the best of times. But this year Chinahas in effect dropped any pretence that it has a serious role. To save money, officials say, it has been shortened to nine days.
In January the government said 850 billion yuan would be spent on health-care reforms over the next three years. In the long run it is hoped this will help stimulate the economy by reducing the tendency to save money for medical emergencies.
