Secretary Clinton had a packed agenda on day two of her three day visit to Japan. She arrived in Japan yesterday on her first oversaes trip since taking up her position. Her busy schedule demonstrates US's intention to promote close relationship with Japan.

Clinton was all smile when she attended the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Aso. She showed no sign of fatigue despite having completed whole day of official engagement.

She left her hotel shortly after 8:00 am. She departed in an American made car.
Her first stop was Meiji Shrine. She wanted to show respect for the culture of japan.
